A lovely, hot sunny day. Setup goes fine but we have some issues with cooking times so some stürm and drang occurs, with even the arrival of a despair moment where we though we’d messed up. In the end, though, the tamales were fine, delicious even. The good people of San Martino made twice the haul of the last couple years, but no one made enough food! We were the last serving, but still had to turn folks away.

Coffee ritual with the Eritreans and Steve played them his version of John Denver. Back to Ca’ Zeppa with the Swedes and closed the Sagra in the evening.

Many thanks our tamale prep crew who turned up on Saturday nite to help. We had so much fun and couldn’t have done it without them.
